Iruvappapuram Meetpukuzhu and Meetchi members met all the political partis leaders to request them to address this issue and make political pressure:

The continuous fasting of Iruvappapuram meetppukkulu for the seperation of the panchayat from Sayerpuram town panchayat has crossed 96 days today(5/1/2008). There is no reponse from the governemnt. Last month on 18th dec 2007 iruvappapuram meetppukkulu along with the meetchi cadres went chennai to meet all the political leaders and bring the irruvappapuram issue to their notice.
