Iruvappapuram panchayat issue-communist party has extended its supporting hands to the dalit people's struggle

Today, world humanrights day is being observed . The tamilnadu chief minister has given a massage to the people about humanity, it is unfortunate because he is not taking care of dalit people , in his state from last oct 2nd 2007 a thirteen dalit village people are engaged in continuous fasting last more than 65 days to seperate a panchayat so that to get liberation from the sayerpuram town panchayat which is treating the dalit inhumanly and neglecting their fundemental rights last 40 years. But it did not came to his notice.Nobody from DMK governemnt met the dalit satyagragis of last 65 days continuous satyagraga but the ministers one bye one daily visiting the prepartion work of DMK youth conference going to be held at nellai on 15th and 16th december 2007. But many dalit leaders,Movement leaders and political leaders(Mr.Ramadoss(PMK), Mr. A.K.Moorthi (PMK),Mr.Athiyaman(ATP) have visited these villages and supporting the struggle. Media is publishing this issue every day.

Today supporting the iruvappapuram struggle the Communist party members stagged a protest in fornt of the collector office . They demnaded the governemnt to sepperate the panchayat as the dalit people of iruvappapuram demanding. It expels the reality of the justice which the dalit people are demanding through the continous fasting. We hope hereafter the tamilnadu government will take action .....
